Okay, so book 1 is done. I am currently working on writing my query letters and a synopsis. I don't know if the synopsis is being written how it's supposed to be written, but some of the websites that I've been going to to look at say that as long as it tells the story in a clear and concise manner then I should be okay. I'm just trying at this point to retain my voice while writing long sections of the story in as little as a paragraph or two. I will of course have to make revisions and so on to make it a good read. I am also working on editing and re-editing Book 1. There are still a few things that I think I need to add to it.

With that said, I am also beginning to look for names of agents. I am hoping to solicit the agents for some of my favorite books, (those that fall in line with the kind of book that I have written) but looking at what research I've already done I think I may have to devote at least a week to that kind of specific research. So for right now I'm just doing a general look at the types of agents out there and so on. I'm thinking that tomorrow I will go to Borders or Barns & Noble to see if I can find one of those big books of names for literary agents.

I guess my next step at this point aside from working on my selling package is to research the industry.
